WHY FORM A BAND OR REUNITE WITH YOUR BAND & JAM TOGETHER

Updated: Mar 7

Coming together is the beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is success. But is working together enough? “A team is not a group of people who work together. A team is a group of people who trust each other” – Simon Sinek BOON 1: You have a group to hangout with that loves music: Surrounding yourself with music lovers when you yourself are one is an amazing experience altogether. Sharing the same taste in music just adds to it further.

BOON 2: You meet friends while doing something creative and productive: Working with friends has its own charm. Its fun when work doesn’t feel like work and you can create beautiful memories together. It helps in learning from each other. Another thing that it teaches is, working with the strengths and weaknesses of everyone, to the band’s benefit.

BOON 3: You learn to work with difference of opinions: No matter whom you collaborate with, two people cannot have the same views on everything every time and that’s when matters should be handled delicately. Working in a team helps in learning to discuss issues as opposed to arguing.

BOON 4: You learn to improvise: Improvisations are easier when performing solo but with a group everyone really needs to be in sync and understand each other well to improvise on the spot.

BOON 5: You are not alone when you succeed or fail: You’d always have people to celebrate with and people to share your sorrow with based on different experiences that your band goes through. In such emotional ups and downs the band members learn to stay together and support each other.
